You’re giving your photographer a all access VIP pass to all the most intimate moments on your wedding day. It would be really nice if you actually liked them, right? We’re not going to be your fake “hype” person, but we are going to be your friend that’s at your wedding and also happens to be taking dope photos!

Hey! We’re Andrew and Cheyenne- Southern Indiana based photography & videography team! We LOVE to travel, hang out with our friends and client, cuddle with our kitties, and capture intimate weddings & elopements!
We combined our artistic passions to create Phoenix Down Photography after our own elopement in Big Sur, California! After returning to Indiana we were determined to bring the most fun, laid back, and memorable wedding experience any couple could want! Fast forward a few years and we’ve been able to provide this wedding experience to so many amazing couples all over! Even though Indiana is home, we have traveled far and wide as wedding photographers and videographers.

A few place around Evansville to have your photos taken
Some of our favorite spots to photograph in Evansville are Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, especially towards the fall with the silly amount of leaves to play in! Another spot is the historic downtown area, showing off it’s restored architecture, vibrant street art, and charming alleyways filled with shops, cafe’s, games for kids, and some special photo stops! Lastly, a short walk from the downtown area is the Ohio River Walk, which has an amazing dedicated sidewalk space for you to enjoy a stroll while taking in the sites of Evansville’s downtown on one side, and the Ohio river on the other! If you don’t mind the short drive into Henderson, Kentucky, you can visit one of our most favorite photo spots which is the John James Audubon State Park. Audubon State Park has wonderful nature trails and scenery to photograph, and be photographed in front of, as well as a museum that looks partly like a castle!
